Building a sustainable tomorrow BAM Construction are recruiting a Building Services Manager for our North East Region. You will be based on site on one of our projects in the North East and responsible for overseeing all aspects of MandE services during tender, pre-construction, construction and commissioning stages. Your mission • Preconstruction responsibilities to include vetting of sub-contractors tender documents against ER s. • Analysis and Management of team resources. • Responsibility for Health and Safety in line with BAM policies. • Project planning in conjunction with Project Planner and Project Manager. • Prepare and manage the sites Project Management Plan . • Monitor and review sub-contractors against pre-construction / installation programmes. • Provide written monthly report to Project Manager. • Chair progress meetings with principle sub-contractors. • Manage / maintain records of all sub-contractors working drawings. • Manage requests for information. • Maintain daily site diary. • Carry out Quality Control inspections for the entire services installation. • Ensure testing and commissioning is carried out and witnessed accordingly. • Ensure as installed drawing and OandM Manual are completed / issued. • Operate systems and procedures in line with BAM standard protocol. • Management of projects defects / aftercare. Who are we looking for? • Demonstrable experience within a similar role. • Mechanical Engineering Background preferred. • Qualified to HNC, HND ..... full job details .....
