-40,000 base + company car + uncapped quarterly commission
We''re recruiting on behalf of a long-established and growing business in the waste management industry, now looking to appoint a skilled and proactive Business Development Manager to drive sales growth across the Construction & Demolition (C&D) sector.
This is a hands-on, field-based role ideal for someone with specific experience in field sales within the waste collection industry, looking to take ownership of a defined territory and make a real commercial impact.
The Role
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in the waste management sector, particularly within the C&D space
- Manage the full business development lifecycle, from prospecting and pitching to closing deals
- Build long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Regularly attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events
- Consistently meet and exceed quarterly revenue targets
- Accurately maintain CRM records and sales pipeline activity
Requirements
- Proven field sales experience in waste collection is essential
- Strong understanding of Construction & Demolition waste processes and client needs
- Demonstrable track record of hitting sales targets in a business development role
- Self-starter with strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Full UK driving licence
