Ensure the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting and assisting Residents when required with all aspects of daily livingAssist Residents in all aspects of their care needs, e.g. physical, emotional and spiritualProvide supervision and attention when needed, ensuring Residents retain their comfort and dignityObserve care planning needs for Residents and completed daily records as instructed and in line with the Company’s policies and proceduresAssist in framework of social activities by interacting with Residents and helping them continue with hobbies and activities in the Care CentreAnswer Nurse Call system, giving assistance as requiredAnswer the door and telephone appropriately. Respond accordingly, and pass on messages promptlyReport on well-being of ResidentsCarry out regular checks on Residents at intervals determined by senior Staff MembersClean and maintain equipment used by Residents and Relatives e.g. wheelchairs, hearing aids, spectacles etcAssist Residents who need help during meal timesEscort Residents travelling to and from the Care Centre e.g. on social outings, hospital visits etcQualifications

Ability to communicate effectively at all levelsTeam playerSatisfactory Policy Check and check against the PoVA listAbility to work on own initiativePrevious experience of working with the relevant Service User groupNVQ Level 2 in CareJob Type: Full-timePay: £12.21 per hourBenefits
