We are seeking an experienced and commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our drylining team in Leeds. With projects spanning across Yorkshire and Manchester, this role offers a strong site presence and responsibility for managing the financial and commercial aspects of drylining, suspended ceilings, and partitioning packages. You will take ownership of cost control, valuations, and subcontractor procurement, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and close collaboration with project teams. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven Senior QS to play a key role in delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects across multiple sectors.

Key Requirements

QS Experience NeededStrong all-round knowledge of DryliningResponsibilities

Take full responsibility for the preparation and submission of valuations, cost reports, interim applications, and final accounts for drylining, suspended ceilings, and partitioning packagesOversee measurement and quantification of materials and labour from drawings, ensuring accuracy in cost planning and forecastingLead the procurement process, including tendering, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors and suppliersMonitor and control project costs and budgets, managing variations and change orders to maximise project profitabilityMaintain a strong site presence across Yorkshire and surrounding regions, conducting regular visits to assess progress, verify completed works, and support commercial reportingWork closely with site teams and project managers to ensure alignment between financial performance and on-site deliveryReview and authorise subcontractor payment applications, variations, and final accountsEnsure robust commercial records, cost files, and reporting systems are maintained in line with company standardsProvide leadership and mentorship to Assistant/Intermediate Quantity Surveyors, supporting their development within the teamRepresent the business at client meetings and internal commercial reviews, providing accurate updates on financial performance, risks, and opportunitiesIf interested, please get in touch via email: or give me a call on: (phone number removed)
