Finance Manager | 6 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Hybrid (Edinburgh) | Starting ASAPDay Rate: DOEOverview: Deliver financial support to a corporate directorate, ensuring data integrity and financial scrutiny. Work closely with Directors and senior management to deliver financial plans and support ad hoc projects. Hybrid working with some travel required.Main Duties:Lead financial management, including monthly variance reports, forecast outturns, and annual financial planning.Manage month-end processes (accruals, prepayments, reconciliations) and year-end pack submission.Plan and manage annual financial planning, support business case development.Monitor major projects, ensuring accurate reporting and budget impact.Educate and train non-finance colleagues, drive finance training.Support senior managers with financial management responsibilities.Essential Skills andamp; Experience:CCAB accountancy qualification (or final stages).Experience in managing control accounts, financial reconciliations, budget/forecast setting, and analysis.Experience in accounts payable/receivable, accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis.Report writing and briefing skills.Ability to assess, review, and interpret financial/business data.Inside IR35.
