Job SummaryReporting to the Technical Design Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for solar PV installations, working closely with sales, design, and project management teams to ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.Key Responsibilities will include:Preparing initial cost estimates solar installations, developing price schedules and bid proposals, and examining or analysing the technical aspects of a project.Calculate costs based on blueprints, drawings, maps, or other reference materials provided by architects or engineersCompile estimates of labour costs and material costs to prepare bids for construction projectsAssisting the client in making effective decisions in order to successfully win bidsReviewing the data and documentation such as analysis reports, whilst seeking more ordersCommunicate with suppliers to obtain bids for materials and services needed for construction projects, and review bids from vendors to ensure compliance with contract requirements.Forecast how long it will take to complete the project.Filing ..... full job details .....
