We have an enviable reputation in the delivery of such schemes and are working closely with some of the UK\''s most established and recognisable Water companies and Contractors. We have an exciting opportunity for a Civil Engineer to help support our multiple Frameworks across the UK. The role will require input into Optioneering, Feasibility, Outline and Detailed design covering Wastewater and Clean water Infrastructure and Non-Infrastructure projects and is a significant opportunity for the right person to grow their experience and skills, to get involved with the UK\''s future water and environmental improvement schemes and to join the growing Arcadis UK.Role accountabilities

Have a keenness and willingness to learn and develop new engineering skills, take on specific tasks and engineering assignments across the project life cycleDevelop and grow experience using innovative new solutions using the latest design software and 3D techniquesPreparation of high-quality outline and detailed designs drawings and associated other Construction-Ready documentationPreparation of clear and well-structured design calculations, reports, drawings and other deliverablesWork in collaboration with clients, contractors, the supply chain, other project stakeholders and wider team membersWork in accordance with our Business Management processes and proceduresAssist in achieving wider business goals for positive Safety, Health, Quality and Sustainability outcomesDevelop a wider knowledge including commercial, programme and financeGrow and develop your personal skillsets towards chartership and furthering your careerQualifications and Experience

Have a BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng or equivalent in a relevant disciplineMade positive progress toward achieving Chartered or Incorporated status or equivalent professional accreditationHave previous experience in the water industryIs highly motivated and can influence outcomesIs a collaborator with good people and inter-personal skillsHas a working knowledge and/or experience of BIM led design and Civils 3DHas a good working knowledge and understanding of the applicable British Standards, UK Industry Codes of Practice and Water SpecificationsWhy Arcadis?
