Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated lessons for Year 5 pupils
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
• Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement and wellbeing
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence
• Use a range of teaching methods and resources to support different learning needs

Year 5 Teacher Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching in a primary school, ideally as a Year 5 Teacher
• Strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to helping every pupil achieve their best
