A permanent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Technician to support the Panels and Profiles remit of the Shotton Steelworks. The successful applicant will ideally be a HNC holder, with tenure in the heavy industry/manufacturing industry and working on process machinery. Role: Electrical Maintenance Technician Location: Tata Steel, Shotton Works, Deeside Industrial Estate, Shotton, CH5 2NH Salary: Competitive and based upon experience Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri, 37.5 hours per week, day shifts Start: ASAP but pending the successful completion of a medical, which does include a drug and alcohol test Responsibilities: Maintaining and improving electrical systems within the Panels and Profiles department Maintaining and repairing electrical and process machinery Focusing on maximising up-time and ensuring safe operation of electrical machinery Leading and supporting preventative maintenance programmes to reduce unplanned downtime Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving electrical faults and breakdowns as quickly and effectively as possible Working with contractors and suppliers to source resources and components efficiently Training and coaching production operators in basic electrical safety and maintenance best practices Supporting continuous improvement within the department ..... full job details .....
