We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.These positions are permanent and there are full and part time roles. Salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours. The shift pattern for this position is rotational.An opportunity has arisen for Band 3 Health Care Support Workers within our Orthopaedic Elective/Trauma wards in RAH, Clyde.Responsibilities

Assist in delivering a high standard of nursing care to a cohort of orthopaedic patients for pre- and post-operative scheduled surgery.Work as part of a multidisciplinary team including nursing staff, consultants and extended scope practitioners.Utilise problem solving and listening skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.Qualifications and Experience

Enthusiastic and motivated HCSW with effective communication skills.Evidence of orthopaedic experience or experience in any care setting is advantageous.Experience within ACUTE hospital settings, venepuncture, cannulation, and NEWS monitoring are preferred; full training provided by Practice Educators.Additional Information
