There is a great culture of inclusivity and support for diversity HGV Driver Requirements Hold a valid commercial Driving License with the Correct Categories C+E Have a Professional Driving Qualification called the Full Driver Certificate of Professional Competence Hold a Digital Tachograph / Smart Card Pass a background check (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law Pass a standard drug and alcohol test (below) to the extend it is permitted by the applicable law Have a maximum of 6 penalty points in the Driver''s License (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements) Approved drivers consist of drivers with background check results as "Meets Requirements" and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.
