Commercial Air Conditioning Service and Breakdown Engineer Location: Mobile Role (Travel across the UK required) Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours per week) Reports to: Directors Requirements: Satisfactory DBS and reference checks Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Commercial Air Conditioning Service and Breakdown Engineer to carry out service, maintenance, fault-finding, and breakdown repair across commercial and domestic properties. This is a mobile role requiring regular travel across the West and East Midlands, with occasional wider UK coverage. Flexibility, professionalism, and a strong focus on first-time fix rates and customer service are essential. Key Responsibilities Service, Maintenance and Repairs Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and safety checks on air conditioning systems.Attend breakdowns to diagnose faults and complete repairs in a timely and cost-effective manner.Use technical knowledge to deliver high first-time-fix results and excellent customer care.Make informed decisions when job requirements differ from original work orders and report changes to management.Communicate clearly with customers when repairs cannot be completed on the first visit and arrange follow-up work.
