Job Title: Senior Control Systems Engineer Location: Glascoed Salary: Circa £55,869 dependent on skills and experiences What you''ll be doing: Designing, programming, and commissioning industrial control systems including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMIs, Ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies Developing and maintaining control logic , wiring diagrams, and documentation for automation projects Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving control system issues to minimize downtime, Performing system testing, validation, and calibration to meet operational and safety standards Supporting continuous improvement initiatives by analysing system data and recommending enhancements, Providing technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel Managing vendor relationships and overseeing installation and integration of control hardware and software Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and best practices in industrial automation Your skills and experiences: Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Automation, or a related field, or Time served apprenticeship via an approved body or organisation with experience Proven experience in industrial control system design, programming, and troubleshooting, Proficiency with standard PLC and safety PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric).
