A little more about your role WSP are seeking Engineers with experience in Water, Drainage and Environmental Engineering for rivers and flood defence projects to expand the growth of our expertise and technical capability. We support clients and projects throughout the UK with a focus on the Environment Agency, Local Authorities and other asset management organisations, providing designs from concept through to detailed designs across a range of sectors.As part of the role, you will be responsible for: delivery of a wide variety of civil engineering river and flood related schemes; preparing and supporting business cases for works to protect from flooding; developing outline and detailed designs for engineering flood projects including hydraulic systems, flood defences, drainage and ancillary structures etc; working with wider infrastructure clients (internal and external) in designing hydraulic structures (culverts, weirs, walls, outfalls, scour protection etc) associated with large infrastructure projects in highways, rail and property; preparing work schedules ..... full job details .....
