Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.30pm and Friday 6am to 12.30pm. Duties to include: The fit-out of vehicles (panel vans, cars, 4x4s ) as part of a team Ability to follow fitting instructions, ensuring that work carried out meets the required specification, quality, and timescales. Assemble vehicle components accurately according to technical specifications and assembly instructions Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during assembly processes Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Assist in the installation of mechanical parts, fittings, and systems within vehicles Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines Report any issues or defects encountered during assembly to supervisors promptly Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of vehicle systems and components Proficiency in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers Experience with power tools relevant to vehicle assembly tasks Previous experience in assembly work is essential Experience with vehicle conversion is advantageous Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work efficiently within a team environment Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety procedures Temp to Perm for the right person.
