Volunteer Data Protection and GDPR Support Officer | Collaboration for KidsWe are looking for an expert to assist in designing and implementing Data Protection Policies, ensuring legal compliance and best practices, while supporting projects within the Community Health Center (CHC), including CFK and FAS initiatives.

Responsibilities

Support projects and service delivery teams to ensure that data protection is designed and implemented in all information processes and systems.

Regularly review Privacy Policies to ensure they are up-to-date.

Maintain records of data processing activities and ensure documentation aligns with legal requirements.

Collaborate with HR, IT, Legal, Data/Research and other relevant teams to implement and maintain effective data protection measures.

Assist with implementing and managing a Data Protection/Privacy Programme.

Work collaboratively with other key people across the project, as well as external partners as required.

Attend and contribute in internal CFK meetings, including the monthly CFK Club Meeting, The Welcome Meeting, Team Meetings and other meetings as required.

Qualifications

Knowledge and experience working in a data protection / privacy role.

Qualifications / certification for Data Protection Act, GDPR or Privacy.

Comfortable being the primary point of contact for data protection reviews for service delivery teams.

Previous experience of working for Charities and/or volunteer organisations is desirable but not required.
