Field Service Engineer
Location: 1x Dartford / South East London & 1x Crawley
Salary: -£27,200 base + overtime, allowances, and standby
OTE: £32,000-£34,000

We''re supporting a leading provider of forecourt technology and maintenance services in hiring two Field Service Engineers—one to cover the Dartford/South East London area, and one around Crawley.
 
The Role
As a Field Service Engineer, you will:

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on mechanical and electronic forecourt equipment, including fuel dispensers, tank gauges, pump controllers, and POS systems.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance, site surveys, calibration, and commissioning tasks.
• Manage your own workload and van stock, travelling to different customer sites.
• Deliver excellent service with a customer-focused approach.

• Proven mechanical maintenance or repair experience.
• A valid UK driving licence.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work independently.
• Previous experience with fuel forecourt systems is desirable but not essential—full training will be provided.

• Base salary: approx. £27,200
• OTE: £32,000-£34,000 including:
  • Overtime and call-out pay
  • Standby allowance (-£2,000 p.a.)
  • Weekend working (1 in 5, -£2,000 p.a.)
  • Lunch allowance: £4.50/day
  • Company van (available for personal use)
• Standard hours: 8 hours/day with occasional weekend shifts.
