Job Title: Quantity Surveyor Package: £60,000 - £70,000 plus Car Allowance + Travel Location: London Our client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, is looking to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a prestigious high-rise residential project in London. With an estimated value of £50m, this exciting development will require the successful Quantity Surveyor to support the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Surveyor in the commercial management and delivery of the project. The Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in assisting with risk management, maximizing commercial returns, and working closely with the wider construction team. Key Responsibilities: Support the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Managing Surveyor with integrating and adapting the commercial strategy as the project develops. Collaborate with and commercially influence the project team and the construction process, ensuring the Quantity Surveyor s role contributes to successful project delivery. Assist with commercial and contractual responsibilities, including: Preparing tenders, analyzing and selecting subcontractors, finalizing subcontractor orders, and supporting through to Final Account completion. Assisting in preparing and presenting forecasts, targets, and cost/value reconciliations (CVRs). Managing valuations, including generating certificates, invoices, and payment applications.
