This role involves executing day-to-day international air freight movements, managing both import and export shipments, and maintaining high standards of service for a global client base.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end air freight movements, including bookings, documentation, and customs clearances for imports and exports.Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing accurate tracking updates, airline status reports, and handling transport quotes.Coordinate with airlines, handling agents, and domestic couriers to ensure secure and timely cargo transit.Ensure compliance with aviation security regulations, HMRC protocols, and standard customs procedures.What We Are Looking For1-2 years of proven experience within air freight forwarding, handling imports, exports, or both.Strong knowledge of air waybills (AWB), customs documentation, and airline schedules.Familiarity with freight management software, such as CargoWise, and airport community systems.Ability to work from the client''s Manchester office.What the Client OffersCompetitive salary dependent on experience.Clear pathways for professional development and career progression.A structured and supportive team environment. ..... full job details .....
