Your new role You may work closely with one pupil, support a small intervention group or help children access learning within the wider classroom.Responsibilities may include: Building a trusting and consistent relationship with a pupil who has additional needs Adapting activities for children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs or other learning needs Using agreed strategies to encourage engagement and positive behaviour Helping pupils develop independence, communication and confidence Sharing observations and progress with teachers, SENCOs and other professionals Contributing to a calm, safe and inclusive classroom There are full-time and part-time positions available, including longer-term placements across the academic year.
