Spencer Clarke Group are working alongside an incredibly successful, well-known, forward-thinking Top 15 firm.They are looking for an experienced Corporate Tax Assistant Manager OR Corporate Tax Manager to join their incredibly rewarding team based in Manchester Central.Within this role you will be part of a very successful Corporate Tax Team. You will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio, encompassing the delivery of both corporate tax compliance and advisory services.This is both a challenging and interesting client facing role, which will include giving you exposure to a range of both UK and international clients.Your role:Responsible for supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.Responsible for the delivery of the tax compliance processes.Detailed technical research and responding to technical queries from both clients and other teams.Helping to identify and deliver advisory opportunities within the allocated Corporate Tax client portfolio.Advising on a range of technical areas such as complex capital allowances claims, RandD tax relief, transfer pricing, Substantial Shareholdings Exemption, Controlled Foreign Companies, Corporate Interest Restriction, Withholding Tax and Double Taxation Relief- this will be with the support of specialist colleagues when required.Support in stand-alone tax advisory projects, including structuring acquisitions and disposals, transaction support and due diligence.Company benefits:A 35-hour ..... full job details .....
