We are currently seeking a Conveyancing Assistant or Paralegal to join a respected Residential Property department, supporting fee earners in delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services.

Key Responsibilities

Assist fee earners with residential conveyancing matters, ensuring an efficient and cost-effective service

Undertake supervised fee-earning work, including:

File creation and matter opening procedures

Preparation of client care correspondence

Completion of client questionnaires

Respond to routine client enquiries and maintain regular communication throughout the transaction

Manage matter start and completion data for compliance and reporting purposes

Deputise for fee earners during absence, escalating urgent matters where appropriate

Adhere to firm-wide quality procedures, progressing all client work in a timely and professional manner

Maintain confidentiality and security of client and firm data at all times

Ensure full compliance with Solicitors’ Accounts Rules and the SRA Code of Conduct

Support the development and marketing of the department in line with the business strategy

What We’re Looking For

Prior experience in a conveyancing support role (essential)

Strong understanding of residential property processes
