Job Title: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN)Location: Mental Health Service Reports to: Charge Nurse Salary: 35,000 - 39,000 per annumJob PurposeTo deliver high-quality, safe, and person-centred mental health nursing care as part of the multidisciplinary team. The post holder will assess, plan, implement, and review care, ensuring compliance with the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, NMC Code, and organisational policies.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver prescribed nursing care to a defined caseload in partnership with patients and the MDTAssess, plan, implement, and review care plans, including risk, physical health, and engagement plansAct as Named Nurse, maintaining regular therapeutic contact with patientsEnsure care plans reflect patient choice, consent, and capacityMonitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in mental or physical healthAdminister and manage medication in line with Medicines Management policies and NMC standardsContribute to ward rounds, CPA meetings, and MDT discussionsMaintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical recordsSupport, supervise, and delegate tasks to healthcare assistants as appropriatePromote a safe environment and adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and infection control proceduresClinical Governance and ComplianceWork within the Mental Health Act 1983/2007 and Mental Capacity Act 2005Adhere to CQC standards, organisational policies, and confidentiality requirementsParticipate in audits, risk assessments, and ..... full job details .....
