Job description - the role

On Behalf of Arup, we are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer for a 6 Month Contract based in London (hybrid).
Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience
The role will include the following responsibilities:
- BMS/Controls design, working with MEP teams across Arup.
- Highly experienced BMS engineer able to evaluate and lead BMS design projects.
- It is critical for the person to have a practical approach toward problem solving and delivery of BMS/Controls work.
- Shall be a good communicator, able to engage with our clients and work with others at all levels.
- Shall be an integrator and collaborator, working as part of the wider BPS team and in conjunction with the Buildings and Infrastructure business across Arup.
- Shall have some commercial focus and experience managing BMS projects.
The Candidate:
- You shall be a Degree Qualified Engineer, or able to show experience in the BMS industry in a similar role or with a contractor/manufacturer.
- A solid level of experience leading BMS/Controls projects and liaising with clients. The role requires good communication at all levels.
- Demonstrates excellent people skills.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Ensure compliance with and health and safety requirements and procedures for their projects.
