TPT2271 Electrical Product ManagerMy is a well established manufacturer of electrical and electronic products who is seeking an experience Electrical Engineer with experience in the commercial field of electrical product management. MUST UNDERSTAND OHMS LAW in order to be considered for this role. THIS IS AN OFFICE BASED ROLE IN HATFIELD, HERTS.The role is busy and diverse and includes:-Product portfolio and supplier managementContinually review the company''s product portfolio for suitability to meet the company''s strategic needs;Research and propose new or replacement product introductions as necessary to improve the company''s market positioning and implementation of strategy;Manage new or replacement product introductions completely covering all aspects of cost effective delivery to the market;Liaise with the QA Manager to ensure that all necessary product approvals are in place;Maintain the highest level of supplier relationship to ensure the company benefits from the highest level of supplier support;Take ownership of supplier technical, service or commercial issues and implement solutions.PandL responsibilityContinually seek cost reductions either at head-line or at individual order level to maximise the company''s gross margin returns;Continually review the company''s product portfolio for suitability to meet the company''s PandL and growth requirements;Inventory managementAnalyse product usage history and forecasting information to manage inventory levels so as to ..... full job details .....
