Our client, a well-established training provider in the North West, is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Training Officer to support apprentices throughout their learning journey. This permanent role involves delivering high-quality teaching, assessment and mentoring, helping learners develop the technical skills, knowledge and behaviours required to complete their engineering apprenticeship and progress into employment.Key Responsibilities:Deliver engaging engineering teaching, workshops and one-to-one support in-centre and in the workplaceSupport learners from initial assessment through to gateway and End Point Assessment (EPA)Plan and deliver schemes of work, lesson plans and relevant learning resourcesAssess learners'' skills, knowledge and behaviours in line with apprenticeship standardsMark work and provide constructive feedback to support learner improvementEmbed and assess Functional Skills where appropriatePrepare learners for examinations, mock assessments and EPACarry out regular learner and employer reviews, maintaining accurate training plans and learner records using OneFileEmployer and Learner Engagement:Liaise with employers to understand apprenticeship and training requirementsCoordinate off-the-job training with workshop tutorsBuild strong relationships with employers and maintain engagement throughout each programmeProvide effective Information, Advice and Guidance during and at the end of the apprenticeshipQuality, Safeguarding and Compliance:Deliver ..... full job details .....
