Product Development Test Engineer - VandVLocation: Royston, Hertfordshire Contract: 12 months IR35: Outside IR35 We are currently recruiting for an experienced Product Development Test Engineer to support the design and execution of Verification and Validation (VandV) activities for complex, integrated products. This is a technical VandV role within a product development environment and requires experience testing integrated machines incorporating electromechanical hardware, firmware, control systems and software.Software testing experience alone will not be suitable for this position. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign VandV activities for complex, integrated machinesCreate test plans and detailed test protocols, including test cases and test methodsSupport test execution and management of test documentationRecord and manage anomalies and produce test reportsDevelop templates for test documentation and reportingLead reviews of test protocols with wider engineering teamsMaintain clear documentation and traceability throughout the VandV processWork collaboratively with engineering and product development teamsApply initiative and continuous self-learning to develop technical knowledge and solve problems Essential ExperienceProven experience designing VandV activities within a product development environmentExperience testing complex, integrated machines/productsExperience spanning electromechanical hardware, firmware, control systems and softwareStrong understanding of test planning, ..... full job details .....
