The Personal Onboarding Verification team at Wise is the team responsible for KYC checks and identity verification that our customers have to go through before they are compliant to start using our products. The teams responsibility spans end-to-end from document collection flows customers have to go through to submit their data, to automated review using external vendors or internal ML models, to tooling our agents use, and finally the whole lifecycle of the collected information.Having product-focused and forward-thinking engineers has allowed Wise to cater to the needs of customers unlike any other business. They have built a world-leading platform and product, but there is still more to do.How we work:We’re a cross-functional team of engineers and data scientists working hand-in-hand with a Product Manager, Analyst, and Designer. Together, we deliver seamless, impactful solutions across all Wise platforms. Collaboration is at the heart of what we do—we value ownership, knowledge sharing, and a commitment to building stable, scalable systems while embracing fast-paced learning and iteration.What will you be working on:This engineer will be one of the most senior in the team, delivering impact beyond individual contributions. They will be responsible for looking at the broader picture of engineering, contributing ideas, engaging in white boarding, designing, and questioning, initially getting stuck into building identity verification as part of an onboarding flow.Qualifications
