SEN Teaching Assistant - Hinckley Location: HinckleyJob Type: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible opportunities available)Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming and supportive schools in Hinckley. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping them reach their full potential. The Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, working closely with teachers and SENCOs to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You may be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them to access the curriculum and develop confidence both academically and socially. Essential Requirements Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or in a similar role supporting children with Special Educational Needs is essential.A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is essential, or you must be willing to obtain one before starting employment.Experience supporting pupils with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, SEMH, or other additional learning needs is advantageous.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A patient, ..... full job details .....
