The roleAs a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will be utilising your commercial expertise in support of the client for a major decommissioning project.

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for overseeing commercial activities, such as contract change and administration, amongst provision of commercial advice and guidance.Provide commercial management and support to Q.S.’s as may be applicable for each project / contractProvide commercial support and expertise to projects being responsible for a range of commercial activities (bid governance, reviews, change management, compensation event contractual notices, etc.)Undertake internal compliance, liaising with the relevant Head of Commercial and customers as requiredSupport the CNL Project Managers with all commercial aspects on the projectDevelop relationships with key stakeholders ensuring alignment of objectives and mutual setting of goalsFull understanding of the head contract terms and conditions and how these flow down to the Subcontract supply chainProactively ensures contract compliance exists and proposes and monitors correction plans to ensure any non-compliance is eliminated

This role is full time, thirty-seven hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with three days in the office/onsite and two days working from home and is based at our Birchwood, Warrington hub.Essential experience of the Senior Quantity SurveyorDemonstrable experience in a Quantity Surveying roleStrong commercial acumenExperience in supporting large-scale projects and complex change initiatives using appropriate methodologiesDetailed understanding of business requirements and ensures these are adequately provided for in the overall sourcing strategyGood understanding of day to day commercial administration in the Engineering, Manufacturing or Construction industriesQualifications for the Senior Quantity SurveyorEducated to degree level (or equivalent) in Building Services Quantity Surveying or have a general degree inQuantity Surveying
