We are currently recruiting for an experienced-Vehicle Technician / Mechanic-with strong capability in-engine work and heavy mechanical repairs-to join a busy and well-established automotive workshop in Abercynon. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who is confident working on complex mechanical faults and full vehicle repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out-engine repairs, rebuilds, diagnostics, and overhauls
• Complete-timing belts, cambelts, head gaskets, clutches, and gearbox work
• Perform-vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
• Diagnose and repair-faults across engines, driveline, steering, and suspension systems
• Use-diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
• Ensure all work is completed to-manufacturer and safety standards
• Support workshop efficiency by working to time and quality targets

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a-Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Automotive Technician
• Strong background in-engine diagnostics, repairs, and heavy mechanical work
• Experience with-timing belts, clutches, gearboxes, and major components
• Ability to use-diagnostic tools and interpret fault codes
• Background in-garage, dealership, fleet, or commercial workshop environments
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable Skills:

• Level 3 NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
