Hays are now looking for a FinOps Specialist for one of our local clients.- 12 Month contract- IR35 (circa 550 p/d)- Hybrid, 3 days a week in the office in Swindon In the role Using Cloud native and 3rd party cost management tools to drive cost optimisations across our clients'' Cloud estate (Azure and some AWS).Utilising expert knowledge to deliver cloud cost optimization strategies. Building, maintaining, improving custom reports / dashboards to deliver cost reporting. Working with Cloud Engineering and Cloud Platform teams to implement cost optimization recommendations.Defining and implementing a new FinOps governance framework, and roadmap of FinOps activity to optimise Cloud spend.Your profile Strong experience in Cloud FinOps / Cloud spend optimization (Azure).A strong understanding of AWS and Azure compute technologies.Knowledge and understanding of Public Cloud pricing schemes and Services.Ability to manage and execute commitment-based savings plans / Reserved instances for AWS and Azure.Experience of Cloud cost management tooling and strong native tooling skills are essential.Demonstrable experience of building dashboards.Clear, effective written and oral communication.If you''re interested in this role, send a copy of your CV or click ''apply now''.Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
