We are recruiting for a Damp & Waterproofing Surveyor to join a growing specialist contractor that is actively raising standards within the damp and waterproofing industry.

This is not a tick-box surveying role. This is for someone who understands building pathology, can diagnose issues properly, and wants to be part of a business that values quality over volume.

The Role

As a Damp & Waterproofing Surveyor, you will carry out detailed inspections across residential and commercial properties, identifying root causes and producing clear, professional reports.

You will be trusted to:

• Diagnose damp issues correctly (not just surface-level reporting)
• Assess waterproofing requirements including Type A and Type C systems
• Produce commercially sound recommendations
• Build trust with clients through clear, confident communication

Requirements

• CSSW or CSTDB qualified (PCA)
• Experience as a Damp Surveyor / Waterproofing Surveyor
• Strong report writing and client-facing ability
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

• Basement / structural waterproofing experience
• Broader understanding of building defects and design

Location & Travel

Projects across London and Greater London.

You will attend the Watford / Kings Langley office regularly for meetings, reporting, and team collaboration.
