Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant (TA) - Merthyr Tydfil

Are you passionate about supporting children''s learning through the medium of Welsh? Do you want to make a real difference in the classroom? We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school in Merthyr Tydfil.

The Role:
As a Welsh Medium TA, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils'' learning across a range of subjects. You will help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support through the medium of Welsh

• Assist pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups

• Support children with additional learning needs where required

• Help prepare learning materials and classroom resources

• Encourage pupil participation and confidence in using Welsh

Requirements:

• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)

• Experience working with children or in an educational setting (desirable)

• A positive, patient, and proactive attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Relevant TA qualification (preferred but not essential)
