A little bit more about your role We are looking for consultants to join the Rolling Stock and Depots team at WSP. The team provides support to clients in the UK rolling stock industry, and rolling stock expertise into broader rail projects delivered by WSP in the UK and globally. We are engineers, but we can also think commercially and operationally. Our work covers light rail, metro, regional, high-speed, freight and road-rail vehicles. We work across the whole rolling stock product life-cycle, from concept, feasibility, procurement and design through to manufacture, service introduction, maintenance and overhaul. Additionally, we have expertise in depot design and operations. You will be responsible for providing rolling stock consultancy advice to internal and external clients. This advice will be centred on engineering principles and informed by commercial and operational understanding. You will provide technical leadership to rolling stock and broader rail projects.
