Aspire People is working in partnership with a successful and growing Multi Academy Trust in Bury to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time position within one of its primary schools.

The successful candidate will work within a classroom setting, with the specific year group determined by their strengths, experience and the needs of the school. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the class, whilst also providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs where required.
This is a varied role requiring someone who can balance whole-class support with more focused interventions, helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of engaging and effective learning activities
* Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives
* Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND when required
* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
* Support the class teacher with classroom organisation and resources
* Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
* Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
* Contribute to the social, emotional and academic development of pupils
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
* Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
* Be confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities
* Have an understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice
* Be adaptable and able to work across different key stages if required
* Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Be committed to helping every child succeed

Requirements
* Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
* Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
* Fluent spoken and written English

* Willingness to complete safeguarding and pre-employment checks
