Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Fire Alarm Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining fire alarm systems across a variety of commercial, residential and industrial projects. The ideal applicant will possess strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, with proven experience in system design and construction processes. Responsibilities Lead the design and development of fire alarm systems using software, ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations BS 5839-1 and 6 Oversee the installation process, including the utilisation of hand tools and power tools to assemble, wire, and test systems on-site. Interpret schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams to facilitate accurate system installation and troubleshooting. Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless integration of fire alarm systems within building infrastructure. Conduct thorough testing and commissioning of fire alarm systems, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions. Carry out servicing where required.
