My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a General Foreman to help deliver a water infrastructure scheme in Guildford. This is a great opportunity for an experienced General Foreman with a strong civils and water background to join an established project team. General Foreman Responsibilities: Toolbox talks Supervising site operatives and subcontractors Managing day-to-day site activities Allocating labour, plant and materials Client liaison Health and safety compliance Ensuring works are carried out in line with RAMS Monitoring progress and reporting to the Site Manager Ensuring works are delivered safely and to programme Maintaining quality standards and site records Coordinating multiple site activities and supporting the wider management team General Foreman Requirements: Black or Gold CSCS SSSTS or SMSTS Previous experience as a General Foreman on water or civil engineering projects Strong civils background Experience managing site teams and subcontractors Good understanding of RAMS, health and safety and quality requirements IT literate Full UK driving licence The next steps to apply for the role!
