Salary:40,000 - -55,000 + -5,000 Car Allowance

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced-Quantity Surveyor-to join our growing residential development business based near Nantwich, Cheshire. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic commercial team, supporting the delivery of high-quality residential developments from our head office.

The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects, working closely with procurement, site teams, subcontractors, and the sales department to ensure projects remain commercially successful.

Key Responsibilities

• Procurement of construction materials and suppliers.
• Carry out subcontractor valuations and payment assessments.
• Assist with monthly Cost Value Reconciliation (CVR) reporting.
• Monitor project costs and support commercial reporting.
• Liaise with the sales team to manage and track customer extras and variations.
• Assist in subcontract procurement and commercial administration.
• Support cost control throughout the lifecycle of developments.
• Work closely with project and site management teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the residential construction or housebuilding sector.
• Proficient in-COINS-and-Bluebeam-software.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor management and valuations.
• Experience producing or assisting with CVR reports.
• Excellent commercial awareness and cost management skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
