We''re looking for a confident and proactive Group AP Team Leader to join a well-established finance function supporting two fast-paced, national businesses.As the AP Team Leader, you''ll oversee a team of six, ensuring accurate and timely supplier payments and driving performance to meet financial targets. You''ll support your team''s development, maintain process excellence, and play a key role in collaboration across departments such as Procurement, Supply Chain, and Operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead and coach the AP team with regular 1:1s and performance reviewsMaintain compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and audit requirementsDrive process improvements and oversee invoice processingManage payment runs and cash flow forecastingReconcile supplier statements and manage aged creditor reportsCollaborate with offshore processing teams and internal stakeholdersProduce KPI reports and support month-end close activitiesWhat We''re Looking ForProven experience in an Accounts Payable leadership or supervisory roleSolid understanding of procure-to-pay processes and ERP systemsStrong Excel skills and data handling confidenceA people-first mindset with excellent communication and coaching abilitiesAAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification preferred, ..... full job details .....
