Associate Electrical Engineer – Building Services
Reading (Hybrid)

An established and growing building services consultancy is seeking an Associate Electrical Engineer to join their team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced engineer to take on a leadership role, working across a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential, data centres, industrial, and leisure projects.

The Role

• Lead electrical design delivery across multiple projects

• Oversee technical outputs including calculations, drawings, and specifications

• Manage and support project teams, ensuring quality and efficiency

• Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders

• Contribute to project planning, resourcing, and commercial performance

• Mentor and develop junior engineers

About You

• Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering

• Strong consultancy background with experience delivering projects across RIBA stages

• Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships

• Strong technical knowledge of electrical design including lighting and distribution

• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit

• Chartered or working towards Chartership
