Main Purpose of Job:You will perform mechanical inspection, document inspection results, input data into qualitydatabase, raising and signing release documents (CofC, Advice Notes, etc.) in line with company directives (QMS) and customer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Inspects and approves incoming/outgoing materials/products by confirming specifications,conducting visual and measurement tests, and reporting to Head of Inspection/QA any nonconforming materials/products.Perform first off, in-process and final inspection by confirming specifications, conducting visualand measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to productionsupervisor/operator.Read technical drawings, control plans, and specifications to understand the requirements ofproducts and services.Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work and waste,and inputs data into quality database. Raising and signing release documents (CofC, AdviceNotes, etc.)Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibrationrequirements, and reporting to QA any faulty or out of calibration equipment.Communicating with the Quality/Engineering department about how to prevent similar defectsin the future.Carry out such other reasonable duties within the business from time to time.Adhere to the company s health and safety requirements and complete training as required.Skills and Qualifications/experience:A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role ..... full job details .....
