Working as part of the Software Engineering team, you will run the SRE function on a day-to-day basis working closely with the Head of Engineering providing SRE expertise whilst collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences.The successful candidate will review, lead and drive our strategic approach to the maturity, security, performance and scalability of our software and services across our cloud infrastructure. You will enjoy a high degree of autonomy in which to shape the future direction of the team using your extensive background and skills in:Site Reliability Engineering/DevOps/Infrastructure/Platform managementDevelopment and deployment of APIs using containerised environments such as KubernetesImplementing/enhancing IaC specifically Terraform.Collaborating with business stakeholders in an agile environmentLeading, coaching and mentoring team members to achieve successAWS and its services, particularly IAM, S3, EKS, Networking.CloudFormation/CDKExposure to working with serverless computing
