Sphere Solutions are working with a civil engineering contractor to recruit an experienced Project Planner to join their growing operations team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project
• Produce NEC4-compliant programmes
• Prepare tender-stage programmes to support competitive bid submissions
• Monitor project progress and update programmes throughout delivery
• Identify critical path activities, project risks and programme constraints
• Carry out delay analysis and assess the impact of compensation events
• Develop resource-loaded programmes to improve labour, plant and resource planning
• Attend project sites across the UK as required

About You

• Previous experience as a Planner within a civil engineering or infrastructure contractor
• Strong working knowledge of NEC4 contracts and programme management
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and advanced Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK
• Marine, coastal, piling or heavy civil engineering background is desirable
• Knowledge of Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6
