Salary: andpound;40,000 per annum
Hours: 5 days over 7

Predominantly daytime hours - 7.00am andndash; 4.00pm

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Head Chef to take the lead at a brand-new contract in Hampstead.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and motivated chef to join a new operation from the outset, taking ownership of the kitchen and helping to establish high standards across food quality, service and team performance.

Working predominantly daytime hours, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a Head Chef looking to combine a strong culinary position with a more balanced working pattern.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring consistently high standards of food preparation, presentation, food safety and service.

You will lead and develop the kitchen team, manage the daily operation and play a key role in establishing the food offer for this new contract.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and motivating the kitchen team
• Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and compliance
• Managing stock, ordering and kitchen costs
• Supporting menu development and maintaining an engaging food offer
• Training, coaching and developing team members
• Ensuring smooth and efficient service
• Working closely with the wider management team to deliver an exceptional customer experience

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for an experienced Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef with a proven background in a quality-driven catering environment or .

You will be a confident kitchen leader with strong organisational skills, a genuine passion for food and the ability to build and develop a team.

Experience within contract catering, hospitality, casual dining restaurants or Bandamp;Iandnbsp;would be advantageous.

Most importantly, you will be someone who enjoys being hands-on, takes pride in standards and is excited by the opportunity to help shape a brand-new contract.
