The Fulham Boys School (FBS) is celebrating its 10th anniversary and has quickly established itself as one of the top schools in the country.

FBS is seeking an energetic, commercial Head of Finance and Operations to join the Senior Leadership Team and work with the Governing Board and FBS Foundation in furthering the School’s ambitions.

The role reports to the Headmaster and its core responsibilities include Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement, IT, Facilities. Additional responsibilities include leading with external communications, assisting with internal communications and the school website. The role manages 12 direct and indirect reports.

FBS is a free school and the provision of FBS’s broad educational offering is underpinned by financial donations from the FBS Foundation. The successful candidate will actively work with FBS Foundation as a Trustee; raising funds to support the School.

Prior experience in the education sector is not a prerequisite and the successful candidate will have at least 10 years financial experience, demonstrated leadership skills, strong communication skills, a drive for continuing improvement and will be able to work effectively across the large multitude of internal and external stakeholders.

The role is a permanent, full time 5 day per week role.
