Job Title: Logistics Operations Lead
Location: Telford
Salary: £34,700 per annum
Shift: Days

This position is based with a reputable Telford based automotive manufacturing business to lead all shipping & receiving activities, Ensure on-time delivery and customer compliance and Manage documentation and customs processes

Logistics Operations Lead Responsibilities:

• Lead Shipping & Receiving team to meet KPIs
• Plan and coordinate customer shipments
• Manage goods-in, booking, and discrepancies
• Coordinate with customers 
• Oversee import/export and customs compliance
• Ensure accurate shipping paperwork
• Investigate delivery issues and root cause
• Control packaging and non-BOM materials
• Book and track freight movements
• Maintain audit-ready documentation

Logistics Operations Lead Essentials:

• Logistics experience in manufacturing/automotive
• SAP or ERP system knowledge
• UK & international shipping knowledge
• Experience with 3PL coordination
