Purchase Ledger Clerk

Your new company Our client is looking to recruit a purchase ledger clerk for a 6-month FTC based in Redhill working on a hybrid basis.Your new role You will be part of a purchase ledger team, responsible for processing purchase requisitions as authorised orders, ensuring accurate coding and approval. You will manage the despatch of incoming invoices to relevant departments for budget holder authorisation, match invoices to orders for payment clearance, and review aged creditor balances on a monthly basis. Key duties also include maintaining the invoice register and open orders listing, preparing month-end accruals, and supporting the creation of new supplier records. You will handle automated cheque and BACs payment runs, perform bank reconciliations, and prepare general ledger journals. What you''ll need to succeed You will be an experienced purchase ledger clerk with the ability to process high-volume invoices along with excellent communication skills and strong systems.What you''ll get in return Salary 26000 - 30000, plus generous holiday and pension.
