Senior Transport Planner - Manchester

Our client, a leading global multidisciplinary design consultancy, is seeking an experienced Senior Transport Planner to join their growing Manchester-based team. The successful candidate will join a newly established Transport Planning team in Manchester, working closely with civil engineers, urban designers, architects, and planning professionals across the Northern region, wider UK business and international . The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of the transport planning function while working on high-profile and technically challenging projects.

About you;
* Previous post-graduate experience within a transport planning consultancy
* good understanding of UK transport planning policy, guidance, and development planning principles
* Practical experience using Linsig, Junctions 9, and ideally TRACC or similar software
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to clients
* Strong commercial awareness and project management capability
* Chartered status, or working towards becoming a Chartered Transport Planning Professional or Chartered Engineer, would be advantageous
