SEN Learning Support AssistantSoutheast London ASAP start (Apply online only) per day Veritas Education is partnering with primary, secondary, and SEN schools across South East London to recruit Learning Support Assistants to make a real difference supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and learning difficulties. These are full-time, term-time positions, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.We are looking for candidates with experience supporting students with SEN, ideally in an educational setting. A solid understanding of special educational needs and learning difficulties, gained through professional experience or academic study, is highly desirable. Responsibilities of the SEN Learning Support Assistant:Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEN.Work proactively to help students meet their academic goals.Encourage and motivate students to actively engage in their learning.Assist in creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.Support the teacher in general learning and student development. You Will Have:Experience supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).Strong understanding of SEN and learning difficulties, gained through professional experience and/or academic study.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach.Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider school team.A ..... full job details .....
